Indo-US Training Program/ Advanced Schools

The aim of the training program/advanced schools is to enhance scientific knowledge and awareness through a devised pedagogical course including conducted practical classes by assimilating a mix of faculties and trainees from both countries. The training program to be designed around a theme of common interest that has a high potential for generating follow-up activities.

  • Eligibility Requirements

    Qualified scientist from all science disciplines working at Indian and American institutions
  • Type and Extent of Funding
    1. International and Domestic Airfare(Air tickets to be provided directly by the IUSSTF in economy class & shortest route)
    2. Accommodation(Expenses for accommodation in decent hotel/guest house on actual costs)
    3. Per diem(Pocket allowance to cover incidentals)
    4. Event costs (typically not more than 50 participants) (Event costs can include tea/snacks, lunches & dinners, venue costs, audio visuals, stationary, local transport, etc.)
    5. Associated cost for publication and printing of event reports.
    6. Other expenses(Can include costs for visa, airport transfers)
  • Proposal Evaluation

Proposals will be considered on basis of peer-reviews conducted both in India and United States towards Award.

  • Proposal Guidelines
    1. Proposal should be submitted in the prescribed format
    2. Proposal should not be more than 16 pages maximum including CVs.
    3. Proposal to be submitted electronically as a single word document to both:
